Gien Versailles
Two series of tableware are available, both drawing on inspiration from Versailles Palace collections :
-Remarkable places depict Versailles Palace and Gardens, based on archive prints originally produced by Jacques Rigaud under the reign of Louis XV. They represent different views of the Palace : view of the façade from the gardens, view of the chapel, the Orangerie and the Place d’Armes.
-Portraits of Marie-Antoinette : this tangy colored series is a dashing interpretation of archive prints illustrating the Queen of France at different stages of her life, from being the nation’s cherished young wife of the Dauphin, through to radiant and then unhappy monarch.
